Independent verification

Verify a Raptor receipt

Someone handed you a Raptor receipt and you need to confirm it's real. Paste it below — or don't have one? Load a real, published receipt and check it. This page checks it against Raptor's signed, tamper-evident audit record (anchored on a public blockchain when enabled), with no account required.

Want to trust nothing — not even this page? The client-side verifier recomputes the proof and checks Raptor's signature entirely in your own browser, against a published key. That's independent verification with zero trust in Raptor.

Nothing you paste is stored. Verification reads only Raptor's public, signed Merkle roots.

What this proves
  1. Included & unaltered — the receipt's hash is part of a Merkle tree whose root Raptor cryptographically signed. It could not have been fabricated or changed after the fact.
  2. Independently checkable — the signed root is published, its signing key is published at /.well-known/raptor/trust, and (when configured) the root is anchored on a public blockchain. This page runs the checks on Raptor's server for convenience; to run them yourself trusting no server, the client-side verifier recomputes the proof and the signature in your browser.
  3. Your part — confirm the hash shown below was computed from your receipt's contents. That ties the proof to the exact record you hold.
